Menu Plan January 27-February 2

The first month of the new year has flown by, hasn't it? We've had some pretty cold temps here in the Deep South, as most of the country has. School was even cancelled for a few days because of the cold (no snow) since school officials didn't want kids standing out in the chilly weather waiting for buses. But the beginning of February means that we're getting that much closer to spring, right? Right?

Of course, this week people south of us near the Gulf Coast are supposed to get some of the fluffy white stuff. Yep, snow on the beach!

Hope you stay warm this week, wherever you are!

Now on to this week's menu plan:

Monday
Cheeseburger soup, pretzel bread

Tuesday
Chicken patty sandwiches, fries

Wednesday
Hamburger steaks (new recipe), mashed potatoes

Thursday
Easy chicken pot pie, green beans

Friday
Crockpot pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw

Saturday
Crispy baked Asian salmon, broccoli and cauliflower

Sunday
Savory beef roast, crockpot roasted potatoes

  1. Looks great! The south has had miserable weather this winter, it's not been too far off to stay in Finland since it's cold in both places. I hope you keep warm!

    1. We're just going to curl up by the fireplace, I think. Better make sure we've got some wood, though! Lol!

  2. It's really cold here in Texas, but at least it's sunny today. I have chicken pot pie on my menu this week too. My family loves when I make personal-sized ones using ramekins.

    1. Ohhh, I love the idea of individual pot pies. I've got some mini casserole dishes, so they'd work. Thanks for the idea!
